Take on Technion!

Please attend a meeting this Tues at 7pm to plan an action during April Anti-Drone Month against Technion Israeli Institute of Technology and their new campus, a major weapons lab, to be built in NYC at Roosevelt Island. 

The Planning Meeting will be at the Solidarity Center at 147 West 24th St, 2nd Floor.

The Technion Israeli Institute, compliments of Google, has been given 22,000 sq ft of space to start this deadly project at the Google building at 15th St and 8th Ave in Manhattan.

Under Mayor Bloomberg’s plan Technion, in a partnership with Cornell University, is to be given $300 million in real estate and $100 million in NYC funds to assist building this high tech weapons center for the manufacture of drones.

What an outrage!

Technion is an aggressive part of the war on the Palestinian people, designing stealth drones and remote controlled bulldozers. U.S./Israeli Drone weapons are part of dangerous and expanding war threats against Syria, Iran, Pakistan and Korea.  

A major NYC public long-term care hospital, Goldwater Hospital, will be closed to make way for this high tech Israeli military corporation.

Help send a powerful message: We need hospitals and healthcare not endless wars.
